16U go 4-0 @ FDU


The 16 and under girls headed to Hackensack looking to improve their record from the last tournament.They opened the weekend up playing against the New Jersey Lightening, they brought home a win with a 39-33 final score. Karli McMenimen had a game high of 11 points. Later on that day they held on to a 1 point lead with 5 seconds remaining against the QUEENS EXPRESS for a 37-36 win. Again Karli had the game high with 14 points.

Sunday the girls advanced to a 3-0 record against the local River Vale Ravens with a final score of 39-33. The biggest lead of the game was a mere ten points. Their final game sunday was against the Morris Catholic AAU team GARDEN STATERS. The MC Garden Staters held the 16U gametime cougars to only 6 points in the first half. But the girls game back from a 16 point deficit to win BY A BUZZER SHOT hit by ALAN SOUMAS and win 31-28. Kim Douglas, a freshman from Clifton High School had the team high for points with 7. Karli came out with 42 points in 4 games this weekend!
