13U go 2-2 @ the Universal Challenge:

The 13U GameTime Cougars are battling some injuries and brought a light roster to the Universal Challenge @ FDU in Hackensack. They split the weekend with a 2-2 record. Their first game against the 13U IYB team was an easy win with AVA SKINNER and ALLI STRAUSS having 13 points a piece.  The GameTime team held the IYB girls to 21 points and brought in 44 of their own for a solid victory. The second game Saturday was against the NJ BLAST. Kelly Svorinic's game high of 13 points was not enough to beat the blast. The gametime cougars lost 31-35, splitting the games for Saturday 1-1.

Sunday they faced the other NJ BLAST team in the tournament. Our record against the NJ BLAST this season was 0-3 going into this game. The Cougars put a team effort to bring home a win with a final 35-31. Kelly Svorinic had a game high again with 13 points! The final game of the tournament was against the 14U NJ MAVERICKS. Caitlin Roche and Kelly Svorinic brought in 11 points each but the team fell to the Mavericks with a 34-45 final. Kelly Svorinic had 45 points for the weekend in 4 games. Good job COUGARS and GOOD LUCK @ Hershey!
