The (4-1) 11U GameTime Cougars




The 11U Cougars have won their last (3) games in the Hoop Dreams spring league. Friday, May 1st they came off a big win over Park Ridge with a final of 24-14. Dana Shulman had a game high and a season high thus far with 16 points. Monday, May 4th they tipped off against the NCMP Hoopsters and only gave up 5 points! The Cougars closed out with 32 points (final 32-5). Morgan Bade had the game high with 9 points. In two games DANA SHULMAN, a sixth grader from Hillsdale has brought in 24 points!

13U Come To Compete!


The 13U opened the Rockland Royals Rumble this weekend with a 50 to 25 win over the Westchester Hoopers Saturday morning. Cate Slepian led the team with 12 points for the game. The wrapped up saturday with a nail biter against the New Rochelle Future Stars. They battled back from a 11 point spread early in the second half to pull away with a 3 point victory (44-41). Taylor Farro had a game high of 16 points to help gain the victory. Ava Skinner helped by providing double digits with 11 points. 

Sundays game a big test when they faced the NJ BLAST, the division II state champions. The GameTime Cougars already fell to the Blast late in April in the NJ STATE TOURNAMENT after a 3 game wining streak. The Cougars kept the lead for most of the game and AVA SKINNERS game high of 17 points was not enough as they fell 36-39 against the BLAST. They quickly bounced back that afternoon with a W full of team effort over the Shooting Stars. The final was 44 - 39. Ava Skinner has another game high of 13 points and Cate Slepian backed the show with a solid 12 points. Skinner had 45 points for the 4 game weekend. Over All a great weekend!

Rockland Roylas Rumble:



The 12U Gametime Cougars stop at the FAMOUS new city diner for some EATS:

The 12U girls went 3-1 this weekend @ the well renown Rockland Royals Rumble, in Rockland County, NY.

Saturday they defeated the Hudson Valley Nights and the Rye Brook Rebels.

Sunday they were handed their second loss this season from the Gym Ratz. They had a chance to tie with a desperation shot at the end of the game with 1.5 seconds left, but fell short with a missed shot and losing by a total of 3 points. Lesko's 14 points were just not enough to pull away. They ended the tournament Sunday afternoon with a victory over the Westchester Hoopers. They pulled away this weekend with a 3-1 record and an over all 8-2 record. 

The 12U roster will have off until the end of the month where they will head to Maryland for the Charm City Shoot Out.
